About Arjan

This freehold, mixed-use community development is situated at the junction of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Umm Suqeim Road (D63). It lies to the north of Dubai Motor City.

History and development

Launched in 2006 as part of the mega DubaiLand development that envisaged a huge collection of theme parks, Arjan was put on hold in 2010 along with many other projects in the wake of the global financial crash. However, there were not many new projects starting up, so there are likely to be many empty plots for some time. The road network was almost fully developed.

In 2013 the Dubai Miracle Garden attraction opened in Arjan, followed by Butterfly Park in 2015.
